FT 1-1 phew, Boos from their crowd.
Thank God they missed so many chances. Well battled Barrow, it's all about putting it away.

Re: Telford tonight
Macc came back to beat Hyde 3-2
Woking won 2-0
Ebbsfleet got beat
Nuneaton won.
Needed something tonight.
Hopefully we can climb away from the drop zone quickly. However, there don't seem to be any shocking teams that will deffo be below us, this season. Going to be very tough, but a couple of wins on the bounce and you move up like a rocket. Keep the faith.

Re: Telford tonight
Once again, it will be interesting how many will get off their arse on Friday night (do the part timers know we are playing) but manage to get to Holker Street for the FA Cup on Tuesday night.

Who actually texts in?
I hope Dave hasn't gone off on one again.

Re: Telford tonight
Fantastic point on the road, and better than we got last season with a that non-goal.
Unbelievably tight in the league this season with 6 points covering half the table, couple of good results and we will be out of the bottom.
As for the some calling for the manager out.
Do any of you seriously think we can afford to do that? Just who do you think we could get in that would do any better given the money the club has? As I see it we have no choice but to avoid relegation season after season, we have no where near the resources of half the teams in this league. Last seasons success in the league was a flash in the pan, then we have our better players poached like Cook and Mackreth. (EDIT:What chance do we stand when that happens seasons after season, Bayliss can't force better players to stay with us, they follow the money.)
Bayliss, "Absolute nuggets sitting behind a computer", I agree!
Get there on Friday and get behind the team.

Re: Telford tonight
Bayliss ' There a few numpties who hide behind a keyboard, causing problems, if they want to came and talk to me in my office and if they know what they're talking about, then come and see me.' In response to texts into RC calling for his head.
'we've lost 2 games in 13, we are still young, come January we will improve the squad,'
'We've got brilliant support, we will stick together. We wont let a couple of idiots calling in upset us.'

You can put any spin you like on this result, me any away point is a good point, we have lost and drawn games we should have won so getting a point we didn't really deserve even things up so I will take that.

Thought he handled it pretty well. Straight talking and truthful.Matty wrote:Don't know what to think of Bayliss' replies regarding fans texting in.
His only problem is that he talked about 'not having a full squad at the start of the season.' Sadly that's
his fault. However I think he's doing a decent job, on the pitiful budget he's got at his disposal. Get down there everyone on Friday night.

Don't forget the bit about how none of them have ever had a girlfriend and they have no life!thegaffer77 wrote:Bayliss ' There a few numpties who hide behind a keyboard, causing problems, if they want to came and talk to me in my office and if they know what they're talking about, then come and see me.' All a bit unnecessary really, but those saying Bayliss out should have a word.
