Not quite, but after five pages, would have thought there would have been some indication as to what Andrew did do, not just comments about why the police, the club and others actions are wrong.Bigfathoss wrote:Ralph investigates...again.

Read the opening post on this topic then.Ralph wrote:Not quite, but after five pages, would have thought there would have been some indication as to what Andrew did do, not just comments about why the police, the club and others actions are wrong.Bigfathoss wrote:Ralph investigates...again.
Just because you quote the evening liar doesn't make it true.

Have many times, but, this doesn't explain what Andrew did, or didn't, just what happened afterwards.barrowfan_chris wrote:Read the opening post on this topic then. Just because you quote the evening liar doesn't make it true.

Agreed, but neither does it make it false, but this is the only detailed explanation I've seen up to now.barrowfan_chris wrote:Just because you quote the evening liar doesn't make it true.

No.Ralph wrote:I believe there are people who have contributed to this thread who were with Andrew Leitch at the time the incidents happened, from the Mail we learn that “Prosecutor Mr Lee Dacre explained: “There was a lap of honour by the (Barrow) players and then there was a pitch invasions (sic). Police and the stewards were happy with what was happening and didn’t see any cause for concern. Mr Leitch was in the Cross Bar and was gesturing and shouting that the Police were doing nothing as usual to stop what was going on.” He then called an officer an abusive name and was removed from the clubhouse for disorderly behaviour.
So, for those who were there are the time, please, is this an accurate description of the events that took place?

If not, can someone please explain what happened in the Cross Bar which led to Andrew L being banned from attending games at HS?boyliegladbach wrote:No.Ralph wrote:So, for those who were there are the time, please, is this an accurate description of the events that took place?

Re: Upgdate regarding policing at BAFC
The Mail only printed 1 side of the story - probably told to by the police?
They didn't print the interview with Pete Garbacz about Leitchy's side of the story but it sounds like Ralph's already made his mind up and isn't bothered/interested about that?

If you want to be a moderator John then at least read what is posted and make a valid comment"!!!
Ralph clearly asked whether what was in the paper was correct? Answer no
then he asked in that case can someone confirm what actually happened. Then your comment. Get a grip for gods sake

My comment was valid seen as it provided some additional information on the answer to Ralph's initial question about the Mail!!DaveP wrote:If you want to be a moderator John then at least read what is posted and make a valid comment"!!!

Re: Upgdate regarding policing at BAFC
no no no John. You made the comment that "it sounds like Ralphs already made his mind up" Clearly untrue. He absolutely clearly asked if it was true and if not could someone tell him the other side of the story. Get it right John or is it that moderators can say or do what they want with impunity? Who moderates the moderators?

Got to agree with Dave P., John. Can't see how you can make that statement about Ralph based on what he's asked so far.
Re: Upgdate regarding policing at BAFC
Am I missing something, maybe Ralph asked so he could help out and then get leitcheys side out
everyone is entitled to their opinion, deal with it
Re: Upgdate regarding policing at BAFC
That's exactly how I read it. He wants to publish both sides in his newsletter
Re: Upgdate regarding policing at BAFC
Given his track record, I wouldn't trust Ralph to do anything of the sort.
Does anyone even read his newsletter these days?
