Tranmere keeper was Jim Cumbes, who also played cricket for Lancashire.

The draw for the First Round will take place on Monday 17 October at approximately 7.10pm, live on both BT Sport and BBC 2, and should Barrow make it through, we are ball number 54. If a Replay's needed, this will take place at Prenton Park on Tuesday 18 October, kick-off at 7.45pm.

Genuinely excited about todays game!

Whatever the result I think it will be a great indicator exactly where we are as a side as the game has a feeling of being an 'event'. It will be interesting to see how we cope with the bigger occasion.

Perhaps a tell tale sign as to who is better equipped to cope if/when more pressure games arrive later in the season.

That is absolutely horrific, a sentient kit bag that appears to be preventing its inards spilling onto the pitch by holding itself together in a desperate bid to cling onto what it knows as life. Could easily be Lon Chaney or Bela Lugosi in there. We need this mascot back in time for Halloween.
