And that was on at some unearthly early hour due to some delay in the TV schedule and was ultimately hi-jacked by a horrible incident. I doubt few outside of Barrow saw it, all they saw that punch on the news the next day.

Taunton probably thought, Barrow who? No TV for us then.

I would have picked Boreham Wood v Notts County. Average League 2 side away against a team from the division below that is very hard to beat.

And that was last season, it could be more now.
It's the same this year.

To my knowledge we've never had a live FA cup game shown on terrestrial television and we've played lots of league teams as a non league football club. The best we've had is extended highlights.
The Brentford game was on telly albeit on Murdochvision.

I know, a good night it was to. We don't seem to be on the BBC radar though. In the last few years we've had the Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Rotherham, Bournemouth, Oldham etc league team games.
I can think of about 10 in the last 25 years and we've hardly had a look in apart from the Bristol Rovers extended highlights.
If Blyth Spartans or Salford City were still in it they'd be on for sure.

When you said Rotherham I thought you meant in 88-89, I completely forgot we'd played them more recently.

Really only ever going to be live on tv if home to a league team. One in last few years (out of three?) isn't bad, albeit chosen by a satellite broadcaster (not a Sky channel btw).

A blessing that the Fylde and Runcorn games weren't the sort of match to appeal to TV...

It was Setanta. The FA Cup is massive to us. They're not gonna like this one little bit.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

I for one am looking forward to Ray Johnstone announcing his itinerary for his weekend away in Taunton.

I'm not these made up people are becoming a bit boring now.

I would have expected full details of the match to have been released by now.
