A quite unbelievable day. I was invited for hospitality by an Aldershot director which was very nice and we find ourselves one down after a minute through terrible defending. Poor marking led to us being two down at HT. The second half started well for us with Bennett thundering a shot wide and we seemed to gain confidence. A great individual goal got us back in the game and Beeley got sent off although the incident was shielded from my view.Anderton received a soft second yellow for holding and he was gone. Six mins of injury time and a superb free kick from Hannah got us a draw from absolutely nothing. Well done lads though god knows the defensive formation for Wednesday. Can't go now because they changed it. What a day.

Flatt, yes. He turned to their home end at full time and goaded them, brilliant stuff.

Outside the ground, Barrow fans in high jinx, Aldershot fans taking exception and calling us "dirty northern [SwearFilter]" and "get back to your northern slums" etc so plenty of verbals exchanged but nothing to write home about.

As for the game, in general we were poor and need to be much much better if we're going to make the play offs. Fantastic attitude though and it's been a good while since I've celebrated that much. Still bouncing now, felt like a last minute winner.

Why were the group of home fans stood by our bus after the match - clearly didn't want to wish us a pleasant journey home.
Barrow fans mocked them for the chants they sung at us inside the ground. Shouldn't give it out if they can't take it! Nothing in it.

I've lived in Barrow and Aldershot. Only one winner.

More than the 81 away fans quoted as it wasn't marked which turnstile for away fans to enter so you had fans using whatever turnstile they could to get in and was unsegregated until you walked to the away fans stand like Dagenham and more than 80 odd quoted. Even went in their bar at HT and Shots fans were fine then.
Clearly the ones at the end are pretty upset about throwing away 2 points
