Was also mentioned last night that the losses for the season just gone have halved on the previous season, and revenues gone up on the previous season

The fact that redeveloping the steelworks end was mentioned means IMHO that Paul Casson will be with us for a while. Good news. Sign a few players and I'll be happy clapping
Just say no to VAR :sentoff:

I think that new Steelworks development will go great with the roof on the Holker End they put up last year.

Have any plans been submitted or even an architect contracted yet? Any time scale given? Or just more empty words?

In terms of long term future and sustainability then that is perhaps the most important news. There is still a whole lot of room for improvement in this area so being self sustainable is perhaps not just a pipe dream.

From Casson's views on the sale of Williams, development of Bennett, Anderston, Diarra and bringing in of youngsters like Bauress & Wright it would seem that we are at last looking to bring through and make money out of developing players. A good reputation there could be invaluable to future success both on and off the field.

I spoke to him about a few bits after including that- it had got forgotten about

He says they don't make any money off of corporate which doesn't make business sense

I said I thought the changes wouldn't work and why and we'd see at the end of the season, he agreed we would see- it's his money so they can listen but don't have to do owt.

It is abundantly clear we are looking at young players to develop with a bigger squad than last year but many less loanees- you can expect a lot in the next few weeks. I said I thought that would only work if we paid out for an experienced centre half and centre midfielderThey appear to think they can still do that in a certain age range. The I started talking about how much I hated Wembley and he went for a Chinese. Pleasant evening.

I liked Paul Ogden's part, he clearly knows the game inside out.

The kit answer was bobbins

I think the way the questions were reported made them sound tamer than they were. 'What about Sean Riley? He's saying we haven't paid him money?' wasn't tame neither was an absolute rant on the playing style from the back of the room.

Don't know about Salford but the gestation period for both Fylde and FCUM was considerably longer.

Well you have been on here all night and day a former member of this forum. Not bad for a Fylde fan who has nothing to do with Barrow AFC.
All you do is slag the club at every opportunity. Quite frankly I find you very boring, repetitive and a [SwearFilter] pain in the arse.
The good guys have deserted this forum as it is painful coming to read it these days. Or you have abused them so much they don't come back
Why don't you do everyone a favour and [SwearFilter] off. You [SwearFilter] [SwearFilter]....

HaHa. You are that boring we can guess your boring predictable answer now..
