wasn't there a q&A with Paul Casson last night? I seem to remember a while back when Jordan Williams etc was sold, we were told *wait and see by Christmas* well Christmas has been and gone and look where we are. Ok yeah, we've signed a big ex-premier league name in Grant Holt, but he's barely done a thing after starting the last two games, he's not fit and doesn't look anything like the player he was. Ok, he joined to learn to become a player/coach mainly, but Ryan Yates let the middle like a general, we have no one like this anymore. My opinion, the dream of second division football is a long way off on the horizon. Unfortunate

Desperately need new players in particular wingers/someone in midfield who can keep the ball. The football today was terrible, long aimless balls, poor passing when we did and with three 6ft plus forwards on we never put once good cross in all day.
Hard to criticise the forwards when they are given such poor service but Holt looked off the pace and Harrison needs dropping I think for a while. White put plenty in but spent much of the game on the right wing.

Solihull were poor first half but grew after they equalised and you'd have to say they deserved it. Makoma looked lost when he came on and fails to track back, gets shrugged off easily I don't see what he brings. Strange to replace Jones with him and Diarra aside from a couple of goals has been shaky at best since his injury, and gave away the penalty with a poor mistimed challenge. Whoever chose him MOM must have been on the corporate drink since Boxing Day...

The football against Wrexham may not have been great but we were organised and looked more likely to win it, today was two steps back again. The squad needs a big overhaul too many players just not consistent enough or good enough.

Only positives Asa Hall scoring his first for us and I thought he was everywhere on the pitch and got stuck in, a proper captains performance, and Jimmy Dunne at the back again. Other than that very poor all round. And the sooner Moore is fit again to go in goals the better because Dixon still inspires no confidence whatsoever.

Roll on January and hopefully some much needed new blood!

Terrible performance. Sorry but holt needs to concentrate on coaching offered nothing. Harrison aweful although has been all season tbh. Hall although he scored adds zero to this team

Feel sorry for the full backs, they pick the ball up, look up and the see a load of statues in front of them, no movement at all. If i was Pennock id be looking to offlaod 1 striker, bring one in amd look at a CM to play in there with Gomis and thats just for starters

Highlighted our short comings today.
Hall not good enough, doesn't win the ball and doesn't open sides up with passing, fair play with his goal, but bar that offered little.
Crying out for someone in midfield to want the ball off the back 4, and we need width.. could go on but can't be bothered tonight...

I like Hall, but he didn't have a great game today. Yeah, he scored, but he barely had a touch in the first half, and the second saw him win the ball, turn, and then just launch to no one - hard to see how that's a good thing!

Diarra was poor, even Gomis had an off day, and that''s the Dixon of old - dreadful today, flapping at everything, missing kicks etc.

Ref got a lot wrong too, and I can't figure out how that wasn't a penalty when Holt was through on goal! The crucial moment really.

That was a very poor performance and absolutely dreadful to watch.

We need pace and width. Not one of them can bring the fall forward. Strikers getting no supply apart from set pieces. Thought Holt had a decent penalty shout as well. No excuses though, it just wasn't good enough all round.

Holt held the ball well and brought other in hit a few crosses the over exageration from what you have said there is pretty poor , harrison looks disinterested centre of midfeild we have nothing width is poor and diarra seems to be now making frequent mistakes well worth keeping the lads up here for 5 days though some money wasted there no excuses today appalling

Never a penalty. Holt was awful, was going down long before the lad touched him.

I’m hoping the phrase “league two football” isn’t mentioned by anyone, coaching staff or board until this season is over.
Popular side since '03.

Atleast people can stop looking towards the play offs this team/squad is nowhere near good enough.

Staying in this league is all that matters with a trophy run hopefully.

Am i wrong to expect more than a few crosses and holding the ball up the odd time from him though Perth??

Tbh they were all pretty poor and i shouldnt single him out but he offered nothing against Wrexham either. His cameo appearances were better

Neither Pennock nor Holt prepared to come and talk to BBC RC for post-match interview.
It all comes 'round again.

Yet another sub standard home "performance " Harrison, white and holt was never going to work!
The substitutions were pathetic we totally lost lost what little shape we had.
We lacked energy and any real drive, Pennock surely must have players to come in if not why did he get the job?
I can only comment on home games but I have seen nothing at all to say we have improved much.
The board must surely get this sorted because we don't even look like scoring a goal.
I'm really down about this because it's the way it's looking unless we recruit we're in the mire

If that's the case they can both bugger off now. Community club? My backside, the basics are at to speak to the press and at least 1 could have made the effort.
