You know what I genuinely think rochdale will beat us in current form.... wild isn't adressing the issues among the squad and relying on solo performances..... it isn't good enough. I'll eat my words if, AND THATS A BIG IF we beat rochdale but after tonight i have no hope.... something needs to change.

FORZA BLUEBIRDS, not the end of year results that l was hoping for, though we have a bit of breathing space to sort it out. New year so going for a home win over Rochdale, don’t care how we get it . Happy new year to all you Bluebirds.

We are conceding some really soft goals and haven’t kept a clean sheet in 9 games, all the way back to the win against Crewe. Have to try and work on that before we start thinking about the other end.
Happy with the overall position at the half way stage but we have let slip and risk getting into a downward rut.
Could do with a win and but Rochdale will be coming here biting and scratching to get up the table and we need to match everything they do.

We seem to have stopped closing down players, just backing off them all the time. If you keep a clean sheet you get at least a point - we ain't getting any at the moment.

Not just closing down but just having the fight to win the ball. The corner we conceded from yesterday- the ball managed to land in the middle of Barrow players all looking to each other. Show some aggression and get the head on it.

Happy new year to you too, have a bad feeling about Rochdale as Quigley feeds off winding the opposition fans up, former club or not, like at the away fixture. Hope Sam Mac can get back in our team asap, probably for Ray.

From what I recall, the corner was low and well placed in the crowd on the goal line at the near post.
Regarding aggression, perhaps that is why Wild is hoping to sign the big lad from Ireland. I did wonder why we needed another central defender when we have Canavan, Ray and McLelland.
And on the same theme, someone seemed to put in a half-hearted tackle and failed to win the ball when their man crossed for the second goal.

I remember a few weeks ago in his after-match interview with Adam, after a bad result, Wild said something like "from now on I'll do it my way", and we started to win again. I wonder if 'others' are starting to put in their sixpenny-worth again!

Does seem a bit of a stubborn character the manager and he's still on a bit of a learning curve tbf but...consistently giving Moyo the nod over Bennett wouldn't have exactly filled the latter with much confidence, which plays a major part in any footballers performance, would it.
Glaringly obvious the starting 11 needed a bit of shake-up prior to last night.
Definition of madness: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Suggesting we are trying to lose on purpose is ridiculous.
The football is better than the other two league seasons. I take the point about substitutions. We shouldn't have lost with a man advantage but Tranmere are not a 'bad side' as claimed.
We were never promotion candidates but it will be interesting to see where we do finish.

From what I recall, the corner was low and well placed in the crowd on the goal line at the near post. (EDIT: having watched the highlights, I was wrong. It wasn't a low corner, it just dropped at the near post. Someone could and should have headed it)
