Glass half full says that other results have gone for us this weekend (probably other than Crawley). Glass half empty seats it is a missed opportunity. Doncaster away on 20 April won’t be easy.
On the flare incident, is anyone seriously defending the throwing of flares at matches? Even if you think they somehow add to the atmosphere, they are banned and are dangerous and the club could get in serious trouble, so why do it?

Apart from the fact it came just as we scored and were desperate to get back in the game, here in Scotland they're reporting on a 10-year old lad struck and injured just behind his eye by a flare in the Dundee - St Johnstone match this weekend. But who cares, eh?

I was covering medical at blackpool fc last year, someone threw a flare that landed in a group of children. The hero that went to clear it ended up with serious burns and his thumb nearly detached when it exploded on him as he picked it up.

It can`t have been a Flare they don`t explode ! ( not condoning throwing them etc.)

It amazes me how some people become so agitated by one smoke bomb - not a flare. At a Football match.
And yet condone the countless ignition of explosive Fireworks & Rockets on November 5th and at New Year.

Probably because one can cause all sorts of problems for your club….and the other is legal.

Jesus couple of cheap smoke bombs, over reaction again. Happens every week around the country, I don’t see many clubs getting in trouble for it, do you? Get abroad and experience the proper pyro party at a game, it’s fantastic.

I was annoyed to get searched at Morecambe as the game had kicked off. The Steward said 'Do you have a Roman Candle in your pocket?' and I said (Cont. Pg 94).

I've watched European games on TV with friends - some of whom have never visited Holker Street - and all have stated that they'd come to Holker Street if the atmosphere was only half as good as what they'd witnessed on TV.

The number of casualties on Bonfire Night far exceed any at UK Football Stadiums due to smoke bombs/and or flares.
But of course fireworks are legal so it doesn't matter.
