Decent summary bar the bit about Cookys goal; it was crap defending once again pure and simple, you can’t allow Cooky a free header in the middle of the goal FFS

Same old story. Much the better team against another team with almost as poor recent form as ourselves but no goal threat at all. Great surprise for me was that we actually scored a goal but, as usual, only danger we had was from Jackson's crosses or his corners.
One goal should have be enough against yet another very poor side but, as usual, once we scored, all our midfield dropped deeper giving Bradford the chance to retain possession from every clearance and get into our final third which they had hardly ever managed to do before we retreated and theerfore resulting in the inevitable equalising goal.
Sadly, even though we are good defensively, we keep giving away one goal and that is usually enough for a defeat or a draw at the very best!

Yep, it was inevitable. Noticed they made 4 changes prior to their goal and left Cook on for the full 90 minutes, Their manager knows his value to that side. He’s keeping a mid table team within touching distance of the top 7. Bradford fans voting with their feet though. A low crowd by their standards.

Actual amount proving to be quite difficult to find though scanning the ground on television, numbers looked to be well down compared to a normal Saturday. Same principle applies to away fans too. Not happy that both the Bradford City and Notts County away matches were allocated midweek slots. Always enjoy both awaydays though midweek dates this season preclude my attendance (and no doubt, many others).

Bradford fan forum estimates between 5 and 7k. They really are not happy with what this Graham Alexander team is serving up and recognise that if it wasn’t for Cook’s goals they’d be nearer the wrong end.

Andy Cook has to be the best at what he does in the league. His anticipation and positional sense is probably as good as any in League 2. He’s 34- but he doesn’t lose his appetite for scoring.
