It’s been a long time coming it’s like watching a slow motion car crash. We struggled to get a point at Newport in November and Whing should’ve gone then if not even sooner, got an experienced manager in and some players too. We didn’t and now we’re paying the price finally. Others are picking up points and we are dropping like a stone at the wrong time. Weak squad mentally and physically, we haven’t got what it takes. Our run in is harder too if we can’t beat the dross arlund us at the bottom what chance against the likes of Bromley, MK Dons etc .
Tranmere may be worried but we aren’t catching them…lose Friday and we’re done.

Got to get 7 points from those games !

Looking at our fixtures - Bromley, Walsall, Chesterfield, MK Dons, Barnet, Oldham , Salford etc - we have a seriously tough run in before we play Newport at home in final game of the season

We’ve got 3 points out of a possible last 30; and now we are going to get 7 from the next 9 suddenly? I hope your right but….

40 odd [SwearFilter] years I waited to see us in football league and we’ve had 5 seasons of struggle then some promise but instead of building on that, we’ve recruited like a National League North side and a shite one at that!

I hope Dino makes the players look at the league table tomorrow for a full 10 minutes so they realise their efforts have got the club into the bottom two and on the verge of losing EFL status and sending their careers down the pan unless they get their act together

Cause as fans we have been given the cold shoulder and should royally be angry about how things have been managed this season, some serious questions gone unanswered and the fruits of that labour has now coming home to roost that we could potentially never play league football again.....

All we can do is hope against hope that Dino can find us a magic formula.

After watching both Harrogate and Newport lately (as you do) they thoroughly deserve their chance of survival. They are front footed and never stop all the things we’re not.

Come on Dino give us what you promised, you’ve just got to start getting a tune out of our boys.

Let’s face it, we’ve been absolute pants all season, and it’s got worse not better. I can’t remember a single game when we won and I thought that was good - ok - I didn’t go to Crawley away- maybe that was the high point. A few battling performances away from home (Wigan, Notts County, Accrington?) all defeats , mostly. We have 13 games . Nearly a third of the season. Odds are against us. Come on - give us some hope - please

Even allowing for injured players miraculously returning tomorrow the squad as a whole isn't good enough.We could field a half decent 11 with a few decent subs but after 13/14 the quality just isn't there.Several currently playing shouldn't be anywhere near but we simply don't have other options and this comes down to poor recruitment.
Irrespective of games in hand barring miracles we're done, and it has been largely self inflicted.

Dino will back himself and want to succeed, we just need to have some luck with returning players to give him more options.
Hope is not a strategy but that I’m afraid is all we seem to have at the moment.
