Re: Barrow v Bristol Rovers match thread
We’re forest and spurs merged into one complete shambles
Gods’ former athlete.
Re: Barrow v Bristol Rovers match thread
Place is absolute toxic. Players don’t give 2 flying ones. 4 managers can’t a tune out of them with good reason they are sh!t. The first 35 was an absolute disgrace we must of got in Bristols final 3rd once. Unfortunately we don’t have the squad to drop Jackson harper Canavan to name a few. We are goosed.

Re: Barrow v Bristol Rovers match thread
Once again as I've repeatedly said on here since September anyone with a set of eyes can see that the recruitment this year has been nothing short of shambolic, whoever has contributed to putting this team together needs the sack! We had a chance to address this in January but we sacked a manager after 5 games and backed him after he/we signed youth team players! What actually goes on behind the scenes, who actually makes these decisions?
In the years we've been in the football league we've been nothing but a firing the manager club, we've literally learnt nothing from the mistakes we made in the first couple of years with Dunn/Jolley. We are literally going out of this league with a whimper, I've never seen a more pathetic and gutless group of players in all my years of watching this club, we've never had the best players but we've had a team who shows heart shows willing puts their body on the line for the cause, this group just float about and the body language is a disgrace we just gave up tonight. I actually feel sorry for Dino what can he actually do with this group of players? Be nothing short of a miracle if we stay up!!!!

It was 2300 with 293 Bristol.
Don't let the old man in.
Re: Barrow v Bristol Rovers match thread
The players not being anywhere near good enough is one thing and a certain Mr Woods should be offering his resignation tonight after that performance but the buck stops with those players . They should have thier contracts terminated at the end of the season .
The captain is a joke. Nial Canavan should have been bollocking those players throughout the match but he can't because he,s the worst one of the lot and he knows it.... Sleeping for the first goal and gave possession away with his sloppyness for the second...Slow and non effective.
Every player on that pitch owes the fans an apology.
I wouldn't even mind us going down if we went down fighting but to go down like this is too hard to watch.

Yep we are gone. Spineless cunts. 7/1 was a great bet to finish bottom. The BOD need to take accountability. They must also be fuming at the what they are seeing for their money out there

Re: Barrow v Bristol Rovers match thread
I didn't think it could get much worse. How wrong was I.No fight, no desire.Bristol were better than us in every department, they ran the game.We were like a load of headless chickens,no plan, abysmal passing. These players do not want to play for our club and it shows and that is down to the recruitment.Last season we had one of the best midfilds in the league in Gotts,Spence and Cameron and we never replaced them when they went.Therein.lies the problem, these players are not good enough.A lot of them aren,t even National League standard. The standard of football they are playing is terrible. All the good work put in by people to get us into the league is going to dissappear because these players couldn't care less.I would make some of them come to the question and answer session on Friday and face the supporters.

We need someone who can put the ball in the net or create a chance!! Gordon & Rose 2 of the worst strikers we have had in recent times.
NEED 3 points Saturday.

Re: Barrow v Bristol Rovers match thread
We can soon go back to saying when people ask about Barrow we used to be in the football league
All the slog to get back to the football league and the club has blown it
Poor management appointments making the same mistakes over and over again. I feel sorry for the owners they have really been taken advantage off.
We have failed to shake off the little Barrow mentality and consequently we have the worst ground in the football league - commercially crap - handed over the keys to the castle to a football agent. Poor recruitment
The club is no nearer being sustainable than at any time it’s a worry.
The club has no structure poor training facilities and a lack of professionalism
Anyway being in the football league hasn’t been great it’s been mainly depressing - national league north is about our level maybe lower

Re: Barrow v Bristol Rovers match thread
Nearly every player out there is just bumbling along to the end of the season. They don't give a shit. They're getting paid anyway. They all know they are moving on regardless of whether we pull off a miracle of staying up or not. If I didn't have a season ticket then I wouldn't be bothering going.

Re: Barrow v Bristol Rovers match thread
It’s not a case of them being awful it’s a case we aren’t using them to there potential as there to busy having to cover our shambles of a defence
Let there be BARROVIAN BEDLAM

Re: Barrow v Bristol Rovers match thread
It’s impossible to support this team when they show next to no fight or passion for the badge. What’s it come to when we are playing Fletcher up front hoping something might come his way. Anger aside I have absolutely no idea what the game plan was. Can someone explain? No width, no pace, can’t make short passes. 7 times Stanway played it out short and square from the back. Led to absolutely nothing apart from giving back possession.
Bristol Rovers head and shoulders above us for commitment, desire and everything else you need to win a football match.
A thoroughly miserable night to go with a thoroughly miserable performance.
