Well thats a no brainer for him coming from Sunderland / Middlesbrough area. Never had an opportunity at Bolton with James Trafford being their number 1...

Rubbish. It's well documented that Simpson had the luxury to rotate his forwards nobody was above anybody in that position. Dennis was third top goalscorer in league 2 20 goals in 46 appearances. He is a fox in the box something we require and haven't had since we had Tyler Smith in on loan during the Evatt days.

20 goals last season. Can drift out of a game for as long as he like if he scores a goal every other game

How is he ranked below Garner, Edmondson, Patrick and Gordon?

Dennis scored the bulk of his goals early to mid- season. Less so in more recent times. Part of the reason will be down to the way Simpson has rehabilitated Joe Garner. Also Dennis perhaps fits less into the preferred system that Carlisle have been playing. Also it’s only an impression but Dennis has a touch of Josh Kay about him. Very much an individual in a system which has become very integrated. The sum of Carlisle’s parts is greater than the individuals within the team and I’m not sure Dennis fits into that model.

Well documented unless you listen to Lummy waffling on on Radio Cumbria that they are skint, haven’t spent a penny, barely pay any wages etc etc
