Stockport County v Barrow
Re: Stockport County v Barrow
Just noticed that by the time Barrow play their next game at Stalybridge on the 7th Fylde will be level on games played. Tonights win was really important to put pressure on Fylde with their next two opponents being 4th then 3rd.
Fylde's games...
Tamworth (Home) Sat 28th Feb.
Hednesford (Away) Tues 3rd March.
Leamington (Away) Sat 7th March.
Barrow's next game...

Very long journey home stupid roadworks!!!! Long night made worthwhile by a solid performance by the whole team. First half was scrappy with little opportunity in the final third, second half we battered them and played some nice stuff it should really have been more than 1. Great goal cross was excellent and finish equally as good top top goal. Special praise for Grand and Livesey I thought they were rocks tonight and Stockport never had a sniff. Well done boys. We go again!!!!!!!

Tough games those. Whatever happens to Fylde is out of our hands, just need to keep picking up those points and it may, just may, see us over the line.
Popular side since '03.

I have to say, never thought we were quite as bad as this...

Seriously they had nothing more than a few big lumps"
Sound like a little bit of a 'big club' gone wrong inferiority complex

Stockport could still be playing now and wouldnt score one of the worst teams i have seen this season.
What a good job we did last night first half they contained us well we did ok. Second half some of the best football ive seen from us Hurst/off target shooting kept the score to one nil.
Only one team wanted to win last night and they did a real shame we have to wait a week and half until the next fixture.

We will get back to Barrow.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Re: Stockport County v Barrow
Bitty first half, played very well second half, especially when we got it down and knocked it about a bit. Poor pitch though so that made it difficult at times I reckon. Haworth impresses me every time I see him - pacy, direct, skillful, good cross on him. Nice to see/hear Danny Hurst getting a good reception too.
Oh and I came off the M6 a junction earlier than the diversion and sailed through Preston #lovelytime

I was on that bus and the Barrow result cheered a good few up. Brilliant result.boyliegladbach wrote:...

What? You chose Man City/Barcelona over Stockport/Barrow?Shaun wrote:I was on that bus and the Barrow result cheered a good few up. Brilliant result.boyliegladbach wrote:...

Re: Stockport County v Barrow
Has there always been a 'city supporters bus' going from Barrow or is it only recent (successful) years? Heard of the United and liverpool ones but not city.Shaun wrote:Blame my Dad. He's the City fan.
