Nice to see crossbar proven right, he always said Andy Howarth would come good even when many around him used to doubt it, glad he is finally being proven right in that aspect!!

I've been his biggest critic, under Edmo he was very much an individual. Under Cox he now looks more of a team player.

Cox sort of said this in his interview during week.

When was last time there were 2 female assistants. Been numerous occasions where been an assistant or 4th official,but cant remember 2 female assistants on pitch together?

Last time I remember was Gainsborough Trinity away last season, I think Edmo will also remember it well!!

The taller of the two female lino's (the one on the main stand side) must have been here about 5-6 times this season - and to be honest she's better than a lot of the male linesman we've had....

Great win, great weekend for us

Great weekend with 6 points and first back to back wins of the season. Credit to the lads for their efforts and getting what they deserved, although 2 clean sheets were possible when you look at the disappointing goals we conceded at Chester & at home.
We have a few harder games coming up with Aldershot, Macclesfield, Braintree, Eastleigh & Wrexham in the final run in, but we should be able to go into these games without relegation pressure and use them as a yard stick to how much we have improved as a team. We now play with a lot more desire and tempo but also a hunger which was missing. Just keep up the work effort lads and lets see what we can achieve come the end of season.

We could still influence promotion and relegation this season with the teams we have left we could relegate Kidderminster although might be a week late and Torquay. Could dent Braintree, Eastleigh and Wrexhams play off hopes.

Pressure is off us now lets just enjoy the fact we have another year in a national league

I was impressed with their away support - 230 traveling fans. Their supporters created a bit of atmosphere and they sang throughout the game for a team needing every point to survive. Well done Halifax!

Our support was dreadful - no singing - no chanting.
