Should have started a song. You never know, it could help.

I'd also like to see Hannah given a run but instead of Bennett not Harrison. I can see why Paul Cox plays Bennett because he's a big lad and can head the ball on from long punts up the field but that doesn't work with teams as good as Rochdale.
I think a lot of us agree, but not the manager at the moment. :?
To be fair, it's difficult to argue with a manager who has brought Barrow as far as Paul Cox has done. However, without a few good additions, I can see the team dropping off the pace. They are certainly beginning to look tired which is not surprising considering the size of the squad.

One or two in the side probably didn't do themselves full justice but you can't be on your "A" game at all times. Danny Livesey put in his usual all for the cause shift. I also thought Alex- Ray Harvey worked his socks off just sitting in front of the back four but saying that our midfield were stiffled as an attacking threat. On the other hand the Rochdale 10) Camps dictated play and more times than not he was involved in creating some great moves for the Rochdale forwards to run us raged at times.

Akil Wright was a positive when he came on as a sub, but we provided very little ammunition overall to the feet of Byron Harrison and Richie Bennett then latterly Ross Hannah but that's probably due to a very organised Rochdale team that seemed to have done their homework superbly.

Enjoyed our run in the FA Cup, but it's back down to earth with a bump. We have a great opportunity to put it all behind us on Tuesday night and prove we are capable of bouncing back with the character we have shown for the mainstay of the season thus far.
Have to disagree on the ARH comments Mark

We have wanted a midfield general for quite a few seasons now, unfortunately our football misses this area out.
But Rochdale came right through this area today and we went AWOL.
Turnbull was the man to change this but unfortunately he is injured.
Akil Wright seems to have stepped up and put in a few decent performances

Rochdale the better side no problem with that, good to see Holker St full again but we never really played well like many have said all season our one dimensional style long hoof ball long throw-ins and waiting for free kicks or corners is awful to watch can`t be many who attended today would want to return on Tuesday how we have done so well in the league this season without playing any football is unbelievable, how can Rowe start today ahead of Wright and how long will Cox not start Hannah give Bennett a rest, the second half of the season starts on Tuesday but if we don`t start playing some football then a mid table position is the best we can hope for. The naming of the Brian Arrowsmith Stand which I too had a little tear in my eye was the best moment of the day a true legend and gentleman.

Again I agree.

Was weird on Boxing day to see Panyiotou and Hannah not come on when both centre forwards were blowing

Funny how the fans on here are discussing tactics on the basis of two games lost in a row. Was all rosy 2 weeks ago.

I think we've looked rubbish for about 6 weeks.

A poor goal to concede and then missing the chance to equalise seemed to jolt us and boost them. A very solid side and did a thoroughly professional job on us. That said, if we'd had more of a bounce of the ball we could have at least grabbed something to give us hope, but not to be.
I think todays game gave us an indicator (albeit an exaggerated one) on what will be required should we achieve promotion.
We still lack an organiser and midfield general to organise us on days such as this, and perhaps it's time to change one or two to freshen things up a bit - but still think he'll stick with the tried and tested for now.
Huge games coming up now, we need to bounce back from the last 2 defeats.

It's not Harveys fault we bypass the midfield. Our centre mids are only there for one reason, and that isn't to play football.

Agree with many comments, including lack of vocal support from 3750 Barrovians. Starting new boy Dan Rowe for Akil Wright was a mistake. Only way I knew he was on the pitch was because he was announced in the line-up. We had no mid-field, no engine room. Yes we went undefeated for 26 games, great, can't argue against the stats, we've been punching above our weight. But let's be honest we're not a good team and have no outstanding players. Our so-called star-man Jordan Williams is so one-dimensional running down the left-flank, but with insufficient speed to round his man, never looks to pass, never slide-tackles when he's running back defending and hardly ever goes up to head a ball. I'd pay someone £25K to take him, never mind ask for £125K. But who would have predicted at the start of the season we'd be in the top 4 and in the FA Cup 3rd Round, so I'm not complaining, just a tad frustrated. I agree with many and PC, we need 4-5 new faces, and better ones than we have, if we are to be reckoned with.

Lack of vocal support lost it for us
