Let us just say the impossible happens and Carlisle are relegated at the end of this season,I think Radio Cumbria will have to seriously consider moving their studio to Barrow, especially if we go all the way and manage to get to Division 1 otherwise they wont have a league club to align themselves to unless of course they suddenly decide that Newcastle United is in Cumbria.I am not saying this will happen but it is something to consider.Let,s hope Barrow continue to improve and then Radio Cumbria will be faced with that choice.

Very much doubt that would happen. The county’s broadcasting priorities are not determined by the relative distribution of sporting excellence. More to do with population distribution.

Second half a very good watch and two great goals, feel a bit sorry for Tom White but Gotts & Stevens are playing very well so Tom will just have to grin & bear it at the moment, regarding todays result for Carlisle all Chris Lumsden goes on about is how bad the standard of league 2 is and Carlisle should be better at the moment I would say we have better players and Mark Coopers side will get even better. Not a bad crowd v Newport but talk of a packed out Holker Street in pre-season interviews with new signings has not happened for league games we do need a good away following to top up the crowds.

I am looking forward to our visit to Carlisle in November. I hope they have plenty of tickets available for the Barrow fans. The way things are going at Carlisle we might even outnumber them :D

The Crowd figure has being debated for the last 40years, when we got a crowd of over a thousand people always said there was more in the ground, it is also the public who pay in not all the freebies we give away, guests & players friends who count, can`t see the Club deliberately lying about the crowd figure because serious consequences could lead to fraud action against the Club.

You are wrong on so many levels here. Carlisle are a big club at this level, when they are struggling they get crowds almighty double us, and their away supporters is excellent. if they were relegated they would attract a good crowds. What I’m saying is, it will take years for us to build a fan base, but we are sure on the right tracks.

Excellent ales and meal in the Duke of Edinburgh, nice pint of cider in the fanzone pregame, entertaining second half, dodgy karaoke afterwards in the Robin Hood. Thats the Barra experience I've grown to love! Long may the style of football continue, allowing for the occasional hiccup.
