Right now no that’s not going to happen. But if we housed the players here for the same working week they are housed in Manchester. Other than there being toss all for the players to do here(no distractions) and a slightly longer commute home after Saturdays game I don’t see what the problem is. Baz I is full of contractors from out of town and I bet a few of their wages could give our top earners a run for their “money”

Exactly they are paid over the odds to come and work in Barrow. Which is exactly what we would need to do for equivalent talent to move to Barrow.

As contractors they will be working a dam site more hours a week than a footballer to earn anywhere near our top earners

I don't think we house them in Manchester, they travel to training...

The set up is what it is and has served us well enabling us to win promotion to EFL and survive two seasons. I cannot see it changing anytime soon and our set up undoubtedly gives us a better chance of signing the better players IMO. Listen to Paul Simpson and tell me his struggles to sign players isn't the location. He admitted only last week it comes up when speaking to players.

Not being funny or anything but think about it. Young bloke in his 20s and a professional footballer. Given the choice would you want to live in Manchester or Barrow - I know where my first choice would be and it wouldn't be overlooking the rezza
