The club will have known this for a while and have been looking at replacements even before the end of the season. Players come and go. I donโ€™t think many on here would have been happy if we gave him a massive contract after his first season. He didnโ€™t exactly set the world a light

His stock was high after one good season in league 2. Not good enough for league one IMO but good luck to him

Massive over reaction on facebook, some seem to think its the clubs fault, one even said i hope the manager has signed off on this๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ his contract ran out for god sake

I think we will pay a fee for someone of quality and Josh will be nothing but a distant memory

Local to him and its a division higher.
Like I said we are going to be like a Crewe develop players but sell them on before the contract runs down think we would have received fees for both him and Brough.

No one of any consequence brought in as yet.
I am surprised we have not managed to get loan players from Adam Temples previous clubs Man City or United.
We signed a guy who played 38 times in League 1 last season and who's current club wanted to keep.
Played 60 games in 6 years scored 11 goals like I say signed no one if any consequence

It's the player moving to better himself nothing wrong in that but we must get a decent forward and midfielder

Agree we could have given him a lot better deal and he may have flopped best for both parties.

On BBC website it said that Burton tried to get Gordon in January but didn't get it over the line. Good luck Josh hope you do well football is such a short career.

On a completely separate theme Altrincham have signed Dior Angus last week. Not quire L2 level but competent at National League level. Wonder if Josh is a L1 striker who knows.

If competent means he was really fast but had a touch like Jack the Ripper then yes hes national league standard

So if he's not quite L2 level, how ill he become L1?

Turning out to be a bigger rebuild than first thought.
We have lost some of our Bigger players along with the return of some very decent loanees.

Donโ€™t quite think Gordon is league one standard but wish him all the best. Always put a shift in and scored some good goals in his time with us. Time for Pete Wild and co to pull something out of the bag and get behind whoever we have. Up the bluebirds.

Back to midlands with his stock higher than it was when he left.

Good luck to the lad. I think it might be too much a jump but you never know.

Was pretty nailed on so let's see what's coming.
