It’s a great statement about how together this club is right now. He must have been able to get more elsewhere if he wanted to.

If we can keep Canavan, Ray and Chester fit and healthy we are capable of just about anything.

Location, ironically, could have played a part in Chester's decision. As Barrow train in Manchester and, I presume, he lives in the area as many players do this could have worked in our favour. As Carlisle train in Carlisle it was probably a factor of travelling that came into the equation for him. By the way its pouring down here in the Greater Manchester area how are things up in Barrow weather-wise?
