I was at the Sponsors Evening yesterday, and if next weeks event is half as good as last that, it'll be a cracking night.

The interview & questions part of the evening with Paul Cox and the players went very well, which is a refreshing change from players not wanting to speak when they pick up the player awards at the end of each season. The three players who took the stage were - Shaun Beeley, Ross Hannah & Danny Livesey, each having their own funny dressing room stories and talking about what they expect from the coming season.

How many were at that Ian?

Not sure of exact numbers Elaine but it was very well attended, couple of spare seats on some tables but other than that just about right.

I hope the evening will prove to be a success for the club because a lot off effort went into that. Austin, Margaret, Steph, Steve P and Emma were busy organising everything with help from Ronan and Anya, the new girls & lads behind the bar were excellent as well.
Bound to be more people involved than that, so apologies to any I missed there.

I've been asked to let people know that Paul Casson will also be at the event and will answer questions from James Phillips as well as from the floor.

How's this selling? Great to see stuff like this being put on, hope it's well attended.

Looks like excellent opportunity to meet all the Barrow team and staff,get a meal,entertainment and a ticket for the Carlisle game,and maybe get an answer to the question you've never had the chance to ask.

Decent turn out, but you always hope for more Mike. Really enjoyed it though bud!

Poor turn out, but things Ike this will be a success in future seasons.
But was a good evening, good food and well worth £20.
