2 weeks or 2 month's

Just wondering if there is any news on when Harrison will return? As we are into the final set of fixtures, Harrison could be vital to our playoff push.

It sounds like he's close to returning as he's back training & kicking balls about.

I'll e-mail Sean this morning to see if he can give us an update.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

I know this might be a bit simple, but why don't we give rights to the physio and make it part of his remit to update the injury status on the website, make it part of his role.
We could also do similar with other roles and functions to take the onus off one individual... unless that's already the case, then we need to have someone managing the updates and chasing the people involved...

Because thats not the Physios job. The club needs to employ someone for the social media work. I find it hard to beleive that the club is that busy 7 days a week that nobody can take 15 minutes a day to put a post up on there. So poor.

Sean has done a piece on Byron's progress and it'll be in this weeks match day programme.

Before someone asks........I'll ask if it can go on the website.

Your efforts are much appreciated Spirit, but ideally you shouldn't have to push the club for a response. Updates such as the above and the Simpson statements should be automatic, stopping people guessing and that is where vicious rumour starts.
Popular side since '03.

I'll agree about injury updates Matty. The other will not happen, and probably wouldn't in most walks of life.

SERIOUS QUESTION

Would you do it if asked?

I wouldn't quit my job for it. I'd happily update the website in my spare time but that would defeat the point of it all, me updating the website when I get home each night. It wouldn't be current if I announced a transfer on the official site at 7pm if it happened earlier in the day. Like I say there are plenty of staff up there who are paid to be there throughout the day. Surely it can't be too much to ask to put a post or two together each day.

It would probably be worth posting a part time job description up to the students at Furness College. If I was 16 I would have happily done 12 hours a week up at the club for some coin. Its hard getting work as a teenage student these days.

Again though, this is what the club should be brainstorming and sorting out. I just don't know what goes on up there each day.

Your Job doesn't seem to get in the way of you posting on here frequently & at various times so I'm struggling to understand your point.

We shouldn't be giving a fan the responsibility of updating the website. In fact we shouldn't have to remind the club to update the website at any point.

In comparison, our news section has been updated 3 times since 8th March, AFC Fylde's has had 14 news items since that date, Southport 10, Chorleys 7, PENRITH AFC 3 times. Its embarrassing.

There are 2 apprentices at the club doing this after last year's volunteer left for university
