I just read that and have to admit so did I - mainly because I did something myself a while back on my house extension.

FAO Spirit - do you know what's happening with the steelwork when it comes down?

Also with this work being done does that mean we can rule out a new stadium anytime in the near future? Would seem odd to put work and money into the floodlights to eventually move away from HS.

Didn't the floodlights have to be replaced though, as they were potentially dangerous structures? If this is the case, then new lights would be necessary irrespective of any possible move to a new stadium.

If they do then fair enough but surely there would be cheaper temporary options rather than a full replacement if we were going to plan on moving away from HS.

Would be nice to know like, wouldn't be so bad if the club updated us on the goings on using the free advertisement tool of the website they pay for. It just seems when info is released its only because the Evening Mail asked.

Where and when apart from on here has it been mentioned about moving away from HS to build a new stadium? Or did someone tell you that as they were getting the name put on the back of a shirt......

Anyway, as far as I know the floodlights are fairly easy to move if they are in the way of any future redevelopment.

Well not a lot is ever really mentioned is it? Apart from a few empty promises from the owner when the Evening Mail are there for photos, fans are left guessing 99% of the time. According to Casson we should have 2 stands being put up now as part of a development which would be costing "Closer to £10m than £5m" whilst fans are dry under the "lid" on the Holker St end.

Its good if they are movable , Im just sure everyone would agree that it wouldn't have made much sense to spend on this then end up moving away to a new ground.

They don't pay to advertise on there! Its like having a sign up in the ground, they pay for the running of the ground but they don't charge themselves to paint things blue and white!

Wonder if Paul Casson would let any young or old entrepreneurs out there wanting to fabricate a piece of history a slice or two of the action???
