With the imminent threat of games being played behind closed doors. I will be contacting the club for more tickets and informing the club to keep my ticket money regardless of what the government decide. I understand others will have a different opinion or financial priorities but buying tickets in advance and declining a refund will ease the financial hit to the club.

I have already bought all my tickets for remaining games and agree that the club can keep the money as they will be badly hit by the lack of income from those who pay on the day. I too realise that not everyone will be willing or able to do that. It's very much an individual choice.

I have a Woking ticket but if it comes to such I will be buying a ticket for the remaining homes (despite not being able to get to a couple regardless) so I hope they keep the online ticketing function open.

If fans can't go to games then they should be postponed not played behind closed doors.

Dangerous route to take I think as if it goes on too long there has been talk of the whole of this season being expunged.
Better to play behind closed doors with media relaying the matches to us.
This year is our best chance of promotion - don't blow it!

Behind closed doors would be a disaster for us as well as many other clubs. The financial hit could completely ruin us. So it would be far worse to play behind closed doors and next season would just have to be delayed until this one is finished.

I think the £1M we get for promotion might mitigate some of the lost income!

What is the point in football if there are no fans?

Hope somebody comes up with a Duckworth/Lewis system for football!

We used to have one. It was called the Pools Panel.
Barrow v Wrexham - home win.

Like others have said, football (especially at our level) is nothing without the fans. Utterly pointless playing our games behind closed doors.

Surely the best way forward would be to say let's stop football now for say four weeks then start playing again. So this season finishes a month later than planned. To get round the late finish start next season later, in say mid September. A latter start next season would mean you'd have to play more night matches but you'd have a longer period to fit them in. If you also got rid of Cup replays you could easily fit all of next season's matches in a shorter period. Premier League clubs of course won't want to extend the season because of the Euro's this summer.

It’s imperative we stay top of this league just in case the whole season is written off with some games still remaining. The football league still needs another club to put the numbers right.
You’d imagine they’d take the club who are top of the Vanarama. We don’t want Harrogate overhauling us with half a dozen games still to play.
But who knows. Anything could happen now.

By the sounds of it they will be making all football league games be played behind closed doors. National league should hopefully be alright otherwise how far down the ladder does it go? FCUM average 1600 attendance don’t they so their season will have to be behind closed doors but then we all spread ourselves out over the local league and in the pub. It’s ridiculous! Let all football continue and hope that if people are feeling symptoms they aren’t selfish and they stay away.

Ireland have just banned all outside gatherings of 500 or more.
