The Place Where You've Been and All The Things That You've Seen
As we wait for the final verdict next week that COULD see a return to the Football League after the longest of journeys, at The Trust we are looking back on those journeys and moments, both home and away. This will be the focus for the raffle this weekend https://www.bluebirdstrust.co.uk/russ-raffle/ We would love you to share your memories, pictures and videos to help us.
We've listed nearly all the points on the journey (though we know you'll correct us!). Which was the best? The worst? I know of at least two fans who have had these destinations cited on divorce papers! Did you meet your intended? Or unintended? Find a job? Lose a job? Wake up in Coventry?
And of course, for those who like to compile, how many of these teams did you see home or away?

Bury, first game in Div 3. I have also seen Barrow at Brighton & HA, about 1969 I think.

Re: The Place Where You've Been and All The Things That You've Seen
Been to 79 of those grounds to watch barrow, everyone as a non league club, be brilliant to finally see us as a league club, so many great and not so great days out on that list spent with some great people, quite a few who are no longer with us, whom would have loved to see us back where we belong

I don't know how I missed them going through it all, I've been enough times!
Compiling it really brought home what a slog it must have been through the 70s and most of the 80s. Huge respect for those who have!

Winsford (United?)

Re: The Place Where You've Been and All The Things That You've Seen
I thought the away game at Pwllheli was a match we won 6-3, or possibly 7-3.
Buxton is also missing from the list, went there in the mid seventies on the team bus as was the norm those days.
I also went to Hendon which is also missing. I think that was for a Trophy game in the year we went on to play Enfield in the semi final.
