Made up for all the club, fans, management, players, club staff, ground staff, directors and all those who sadly aren't here to see this day ie my Dad, Vic Brownbill, Ray Wilkie, Bill McCullough, Brian Arrowsmith, Florence and Bobby Knox, Tony Jackman, Sammy Morgan, Jimmy Mutton and Jim the other groundsman, Peter Kirkby/Pressbox Pete, Bill Ablitt, Gary McFarlane, Myles, Wilf Livingstone, George Lewis, Maurice Heslop, Billy Black, John Woods, Alan Kirkby, Ray Johnson, Arthur Cook, Brian Abbingdon, Jack Aspinall, Harold Marsden, Wilson Carradus, John Smith, Brian from St Johns Ambulance, Quinny, Big Ted, Roly, Dodge, Colin Jackson, Les Parrington and many many more.

When we were getting 200 in against the likes of Frickley and Goole, When the liquidator came to wind us up,
When players played for free, When we had to beg steal and borrow kits, balls and players just to play......infact we had to beg to just be let into leagues on at least 3 occasions in those dark days.

I remember saying to my Dad (who was a lifelong fan of some 65 years) listening to Barrow in FGH just before he died that they would be in the FL within 3 years, he sadly then passed away but only after choosing a plot overlooking Holker st on the hill at the cemetery, We did it DAD, WE DID IT!!

This song is just a bit of fun, i did a video for my facebook when the news was broke that we had been promoted, next thing you know it's on BBC North West News, so i thought i would record it for any kids to sing along to seeing as we can't celebrate at this strange time.

It's not the best vocal or video ( I'm not that technical) but simply just something to come together with, anyone is more than welcome to share it, we can't sell it cos of copyright but can certainly share it to singalong to, I have seen a couple of videos with kids singing along to it at home and that's what it's all about.
