I don't follow such events closely, but was there not a Commercial Manager in place prior to this appointment?

I don't think we have had a "named" commercial manager since the Cassons unceremoniously dumped Emma Athersmith (harshly imo) I stand to be corrected if wrong but since then I think the people currently employed plus directors have all pulled together and chipped in on the commercial side to help promote the club. An official appointment has to be seen as a positive step.

Five 'managers' of a total 9 staff. A little top-heavy, perhaps.
