I don't think I've ever seen a response so unanimous in its reaction. It's usually spattered with the odd 'we can do better'; 'Barrow's his level' kind of stuff.

Agree. Can we stop with this crap unless there is any foundation to it.

To put this signing into context, Worrall is a career EFL player who in terms of ability has been able to fit into outfits between lower-mid championship and mid L2 levels.

Whilst many won’t swoon at his acquisition he is a significant signing. He was very much instrumental in Vale’s promotion season and as.has been mentioned gave us all kinds of problems in both games the season before last.

He’s a 100 per center and both PW and the fans will love him. I suspect that might have been part of the attraction for him.

He feels like a great fit and someone who could complement the likes of Robbie Gotts. For those of us that have worked out already that the next step forward for us as a L2 club is consolidation and then development this is a great signing. It’s a step forward in quality.

Has cheered me up no end. Well done to all for getting this over the line. I can imagine that he would not have been short of offers.
