If he is I hope it is on reduced terms than he was originally offered. To turn the contract down and say goodbye to everyone and still come back on the original offer doesn’t sit right with me. I really like Josh but as a business it needs to be a worse contract or else every season going forward players will expect the same treatment….an open ended contract offer

Not really a cast off is it? By all accounts we wanted to keep him, but Josh turned us down to seek a better deal elsewhere which he may or may not have found. If he wants to come back on the deal he was offered which he deemed not enough to stay and probably wasn’t massively more than what he was on hence his desire to reject, as a squad player in reality, wouldn’t be the worst bit of business.

The question is, is there someone out there better than Josh who would command a similar or lower wage but be more effective? Oh to be a manager
