Junior Tiensia has been ruled out for three months with an ankle injury, that he suffered during the second half at MK Dons.

That's a blow. He's been a stand-out player and was more dangerous in his 7 mins against MK Dons than the attacking players had been in the whole match before he came on!

Big loss, have been impressed with him.

What I can’t understand is why they never called for a stretcher because he was obviously in a lot of discomfort, I’m not saying it definitely made the injury worse but it can’t have helped….and why even take that chance?

We are not having a lot of luck with our full backs this season.

Let`s hope our forwards stay fit.

IIRC he was treated, tried to carry on playing and then went down again for more treatment before hobbling off. Funny things sometimes, injuries.

And I believe the player was not booked for the challenge.

Yes he was. From where I was sat the tackle looked to be from behind as Junior was out-running him..

Wasn’t a great attempt tbh. But a yellow rather than a red I think.

He will be missed. Never thought I’d say that when he signed. As with Acquah to some extent at Maidenhead, Junior’s arrival was not really greeted with much pain at Solihull. But he’s been a gem of an acquisition.

It seems to me that, so far, our “who?” signings have made more of an impression than our better known ones.

For me JT has been the best signing followed by Aqua, Campbell & Spence….3 from the lower leagues

Agreee. Pace to burn and decent in both boxes, young lad too can see him going a lot higher then league 2

...and interestingly Tiensia, Acquah and Campbell were all playing for clubs well away from the area. Suggests that our scouting processes are working. Also that the relationship between the DoF and Manager is good. Also that the Board are prepared to support these type of signings that do bring some additional complications. Lastly perhaps that basing the training in Manchester also has its benefits. Really encouraging signs.
