Not having Sky it won,t affect me.Who. want,s to go to watch football on a Thursday.If we are playing at home the ground will.be half empty.Why should Sky decide when games are played?Oh I forgot Sky now own the EFL.

Its too near the weekend. Families that are on a fairly tight budget and having to plan ahead might be tempted or encouraged to save that would be gate money for family weekend activities less it run out.

It's an appalling deal for the football fan that will have a detrimental effect on overall attendances at lower league games. Overalll I doubt financially clubs will be any better off. Agents will want their cut in higher wages for their clients too.

Conversely, families who enjoy weekend activities together though not football might welcome having the football-supporting member of the family free on a Saturday because the game was played on Thursday.

Lads in the yard that work shifts may find it suits better. The switch over days are tue/wed so to many they'll be off and It is more like a weekend fixture. Think a few would be more inclined to go not getting up early or finishing at 18:50 and rushing

When teams play on a Thursday night (in Europe) they then play their league game on a Sunday. I presume whoever is picked in L1 or L2 for a Thursday match does not play a game over the following weekend. I personally detest Thursday night football as it does mess up the weekend. But I get it for people on shift worrk etc.

??? If you work 3 on 4 off you'll be working a Thursday HOW is that better????

Exactly the same as a Tuesday night. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

The fuss is it's another time where supporters may have to miss the game or use holidays etc but that's OK isn't it ?
