Would you sacrifice 3 points saturday but win at Chelsea and get another big payday away at another big Premier League team in the next round. Me yes I would.

Its the Bread & Butter that comes first = three point saturday preferably. Anything else is just a bonus.

Bit more complex than that ultimately isnβt it. If those 3 points were to cost us the chance of promotion, play offs or to seal our relegation fate then It would a definite no way.
But if we were to beat Chelsea imagine the publicity and acclaim it would bring not to mention the potential for extra revenue if we drew one of the Northern powerhouses. But we are dreaming here right

Have to agree, the league is the important one.We don,t want another near miss.If we manage to progress in the cup all well and good, but if nit,we have all had a good day out and the club has made some money.
. Onwards and Upwards

On a serious note, Chelsea put 6 past wolves recently, people have to understand the reality of who we are playing.

The first 11 will be nowhere near this fixture i would suspect, so you cant draw comparisons with the Wolves game.

Their second 11 includes a goalkeeper who made 36 starts in La Liga last season, Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku...

Personally not bothered about the score, and Iβd go with the league first, especially after we were denied a celebration during that Covid spike ending, also when we played Villa at home, I remember it for the occasion and as a sell out HS, rather than the scoreline, league always comes first imo.
