Is it a derby? well if it is then our record in league derby's since we were promoted is abysmal, one win in 13 attempts. Will this be the end of our winless streak? Barrow now 15th in the league but I fancy a win for us FINALLY in this early 12:30 kick off. Fleetwood a point behind Barrow with two games in hand. All runs come to an end eventually, COYB.

On Sky+ probably give it a watch to see what we'll be facing on Saturday.

Feel quite confident about this one if Fleetwood don’t score we’ll get a point. Oak trees from little acorns and all that.

I would think Clemence will be doing the same, assuming he’s not at the game. He might be going with Wood Who knows?

Could be looking to pick up some more Fleetwood 'gems' like Biggins and Garner!!!

Number 44 Patterson had good game with some excellent crosses into the box whoever marks him on Saturday is in for a tough afternoon.

would say saturdays game is a must win game, not just for barrow but more for clemence , a defeat and i would say its the end of the road for him

While we know we have problems scoring goals, we also need to start keeping clean sheets.
We haven't kept one in the last 12 league games (since we played Chelsea).
Indeed only 1 in the last 15 league matches.
If we manage to achieve that and can find the net it will be a welcome 3 points.

I've no doubt whatsoever the board will have discussed a timescale of Clemence sacking if fortunes don't improve , like you say it could be as quickly as after Saturday IF we lose.

True but of the last 10 league matches we have conceded only 1 goal in 9 of them and have 4 points from those 10 games. While, it's annoying that we have struggled to keep clean sheets if you only concede 1 goal per match at this level, you should be winning the majority of those matches. We have won none with a measly 4 draws entirely because we have the worst strike force in the league!

Definitely a must win for Clemence but I think there is a bigger issue with the squad. The rot set in at the end of last season and I think the policy of signing good lads is proving to be a mistake. They are not ruthless or nasty enough to see anything out in this league. Yes they have the potential to play pretty football against certain opposition but they are all too comfortable and complacent.
Robbie Gotts is the only one who has any spirit about him but even he is too small.
I watched fleetwood the other night against Accy and they are definitely up for scrapping for points.I worry for our lads on Saturday with the added pressure of a must win. The only saving grace is they are dodgy at the back when pressed.
This squad needs some bite .
