Port Vale
Can we make it 5 unbeaten? Don't see why not personally. Whing wants 5 more points for safety so we still have something to play for. A win or draw for Vale and they go into the automatic positions but Barrow can throw a spanner in the works as they did to the Dons. This one is a 7:30 ko.

Re: Port Vale
Has anybody else noticed that the Port Vale v Barrow match is not down to be shown tomorrow night on Sky Sports+?
I thought all midweek games were supposed to be televised.

Re: Port Vale
It might be something to do with it being a re-arranged Saturday game that was called off due to an unfit pitch and was not originally due to be on sky sports+saltcellar wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 1:05 pm Has anybody else noticed that the Port Vale v Barrow match is not down to be shown tomorrow night on Sky Sports+?

Re: Port Vale
Surely if they are not prepared to show it they should make it available via our clubs website as it is still being shown abroad.Under the Ifollow last season every midweek away match was shown.People paid for Sky so they could watch their own team play when they are away from home.I would be looking to see if Sky are breaching the terms and conditions of the agreement with the EFL.If they can show the match abroad they can show it in the UK.

Re: Port Vale
As Tony Shearer said at the recent Q&A the new sky deal is very poor( we lost a lot of money for having the Carlisle games live on Sky) and the ONLY benefit to us is that games get shown across the in the states so gives the "Barrow brand" wider coverage.Methuselah wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 2:03 pm Surely if they are not prepared to show it they should make it available via our clubs website as it is still being shown abroad.Under the Ifollow last season every midweek away match was shown.People paid for Sky so they could watch their own team play when they are away from home.I would be looking to see if Sky are breaching the terms and conditions of the agreement with the EFL.If they can show the match abroad they can show it in the UK.

Re: Port Vale
Barrow & Carlisle games both called off on January 11th, maybe the game starting at 7-30pm has something to do with it.

I didn’t know this. I hadn’t checked and I just assumed it was on Sky.

Re: Port Vale
All EFL games being played on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday night in the Championship, League 1 and League 2 are being shown apart from Port Vale v Barrow
Carlisle v MK Dons (Tuesday), Leyton Orient v Stevenage (Thursday), Colchester v Grimsby (Friday), Tranmere v Cheltenham (Friday) and Sheffield United v Coventry (Friday).
No logical reason I can find for it.

Re: Port Vale
As it is a re-arranged game the home club has the right to say if it is able to be televised or follow the same rules as original for a 3pm Saturday game which it would have been.
