Next 3 home games are crucial

Post by Bluebirdboy » Thu Feb 26, 2026 5:00 pm

HOME: Gillingham, Bristol Rovers, Accrington
All three games are crucial for points really need the points if we don’t want to get relegated after our form has been shocking recently we can’t afford to lose these games at home should be at least coming away with at least 3 points no matter what at home to these struggling teams there is no excuse for us to be losing as there was no excuse for the players after bottling a 2 goal lead at Fleetwood needs to get better and players need to work harder let’s back the boys on Saturday when we host gillingham UP THE BARROW!

Wouldn’t rely too much on home form tbh. The importance of our games as we progress is just going to pile even more pressure on a fragile bunch as it is.
As supporters all we can do is back them when they play and hope the tide turns in our favour.
The time for talking is the scheduled Q&A in March and when our ultimate fate is decided. Until then as painful as it may be we have to back those chosen to wear the Barrow AFC shirt.

100% Mark. But, if we can't turn our home form around......

Probably going to need 6 points minimum out of these games.

Home form is crucial.

I honestly think Dino will turn things around.
At the end of the season even if we stay up we need a clear out including Woods.
We have had several Managers and struggled.
The common denominator is Wood.
In work you meet people who are creeping Jesus's.
Wild clashed with Wood and the none disclosure is because of what went on.
Andy Whing was in aw and he paid the price .
I listened to the podcast and the question was raised what does Wood do?
He has no reserve team,no woman's team ,or academy team to manage.
If we go down it's due to recruitment of bad Managers and players.
In BAE you meet alot of Billy bullshitters but the taxpayers takes the hit that's.not the case here.
Irrespective of the outcome of this season he needs to go.

So you think Dino will save us but you also think we should get rid of Woods who according to you was solely responsible for bringing him to the club.
Now I might have to have a few beers to figure that out!!!

Agreed; we simply have to start winning at home, starting this Saturday
Harrogate and Newport have started grinding out results, we simply have to do the same and hope the games in hand save us

Both statements can be correct. His recruitment is what’s got us to the point where he’s firefighting by bringing in dino. I need a few beers to try and see how you can’t see that

Agree with MrMcMark and others – after all the recent inquests, analyses, criticisms and finger-pointing we now approach another high-pressure ordeal at Holker St. I think the thing to do now is just concentrate on OUR team - Barrow AFC. Owners, managers, coaches, staff members and hangers-on all come and go, but we – the supporters, remain ever-present and steadfast. We are in a dire situation for sure but we have come through worse and now need to back OUR team irrespective of what we think of any individuals in that team. Hopefully OUR team (and Manager) might just prove greater than the sum of its parts. Semper sursum!
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

I really hope we can help lift the players. Guilty, I’ve only been to a handful of games this season, but the situation we are in, time to back them as much as we can. Fans have got to do our bit. Shout for everything, clap every corner, every tackle, every challenge, right from the off. Any singers, …get the HSE going all game. Where’s all the flags??
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.
