Permutation’s for Saturday.

For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

Permutation’s for Saturday.

Assuming Tranmere hold on and win tonight.

That puts us further in the mess.

But what exactly can happen Saturday in best and worst case scenario??

Best case scenario, we somehow pull off a win at Cambridge and Crawley, Newport and Harrogate all lose, leaving us on 39 points and (as things stand) in 21st. Worst case is that if all 3 win and we lose, I believe we are mathematically down.

3-1 now, that should see them safe. One less team we can catch

Wouldn’t be surprised if we finish rock bottom.

Worst case scenario is Everyone above us wins and we lose - relegated
Best case Everyone loses and we win - highly unlikely.
Ideally we need Harrogate, Newport and Crawley to lose and we go to the final game of the season and pray 🙏

Worse :-
We lose (37 points), the Tranmere score is irrelevant (40), Newport win, Crawley could technically draw (5 goals difference, let’s face it, we ain’t likely to get that back in 2 games) and were down.

Best:-
We win and the above teams and Harrogate lose.

We’ve been the masters of our own demise all season, sadly.

If we lose on Sat and Crawley get a point, they'll be pretty much safe from us due to their goal difference.. So Saturday it only takes Crawley drawing and Newport winning to see us down (assuming we lose)

Bottom 3 all lose Sat.
Harrogate lose last game of season and we beat Newport!

Cambridge lost tonight too so will be a wounded bear on Saturday, as if it wasn’t going to be hard enough already. Can’t see anything but a Cambridge win and elsewhere that may mean it’s all but mathematically over. A week ago we gave ourselves a chance but undid all that on Saturday again. Miracle of some proportion is needed to avoid the inevitable.

The benchmark safety for points was always around 46, were well short sadly, the fat lady is currently gargling her tonsils with some madras from the fanzone and is just about ready to unleash her swan song.

Whatever happens we desperately need a change of attitude, players who will bust a gut for the club, a Manager who is confident and has an air of authority no more Whings, Clemences I'm sick of these weak minded Managers and the board they need a proper director of football who can work with a new Manager, then finally we have to investigate what the hell has happened to get all these injuries, I know we signed a few injury prone players but this season has been unbelievable there's something seriously wrong either in the training facilities or how we prepare the players!

Harrogate will get a draw and a loss in their last two games.
We will lose against Cambridge.
Newport will get beat at home by Oldham and then Barrow.
The mighty Barrow stay in the EFL.
Harrogate and Newport are relegated.
