What went wrong? Ian Evatt was too good and Bolton took him
Since then bar Wild who as Hoss said should have stayed obviously it’s been bad appointment after bad appointment. Would love to see a total of how much we’ve paid out on hiring and firing managers

Re: Sending off
Great idea that. Can’t believe no-one on here has ever suggested it before nowOlderbarrowfan79+ wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2026 6:57 pm You would think bae could offer some ground sponsorship for the towns teams really being the biggest local employer with over a billion in profits a million is pocket change to them a drop in the ocean

Re: This seasons prediction
We should have had Wild back in the summer if we were going to have Wild back
Still think people are overreacting to think we’ll go down again; once we start playing two strikers and get another decent centre back in we’ll be fine

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
His signings bar two or three have been poor. He’s alienated and got rid of senior and respected pros. He’s called out last seasons players yet they’ve nearly all gone and those left are his choice, Unless it’s not his choice it baffles me Harper and Jackson are still here, I couldn’t think of two ...

Re: Sending off
It’s quite clear when you look at the club contacts section of the website we need more people on the board; even if they aren’t massive investors at this stage

Re: Sending off
Adam needs to stop operating as Hornby's propaganda wing, and start doing some investigative journalism into what's actually going on at the club. We know what’s going on; Murray signs loads of players early in the summer to get bodies in the building then realises they aren’t good enough so signs ...

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
Hornby in his time as Chairman has appointed one manager that has been semi successful! that being Wild. Surely theres no belief that sacking Murray would mean he gets any further recruitment right. Personally we have to stick with Murray but it needs to improve massively starting Saturday. Long te...

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
Murray time is up, inexcusable performance and nothing but hoofball, and no urgency at 1-0 down.... he will take us back to where he belongs in NLN if we dont act now. Genuinely baffling how we did so well against Sutton and tbh Yeovil for majority of the game then produce that shite. Has to change...

Side bottom of the league scores a finish like that, only against us!standishbluebird wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2026 9:23 pm Didn't someone say the phrase 'this result has kick started their season' was hoving worryingly into view earlier in the thread? Looks like that might well be the case, unless something very unlikely happens very soon.

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
Again not the greatest ref to say the least but you have to be pretty stupid to go down to 10 men away at bottom of the league in a game you really need a result from

Re: Whitfield
The way Boreham Wood play Whitfield is pretty much guaranteed to get goals and/or assists; looking forward to the melt down
