Second half we were relentless. The pressing, the aggression and willing to win every ball was just great to watch. Work rate wise, last night it looked like we had 4 or 5 John Gordons on the pitch On top of all this, we showed some real technical quality last night. Not enjoyed a game like that in ...

Not many teams watching that will look forward to playing us. Lots of good things today. The thing I liked most is when Southend got within one goal of us, twice, we created chances instead of sitting back... I think with last seasons mentality we would have drawn that type of game. Very enjoyable p...

Thought we were looking comfortable until those 2 subs were made

Ref's had a shocker there. Williams was clearly having his shirt pulled should have been a free kick to Barrow before their man hit the deck Was he having his shirt pulled when he got the first yellow? I think if it is a rebuild over a few seaso...

Really enjoyed the game last night. I think if we do get back to the football league it will be a 3-4 year rebuild process so why not just enjoy this season without high hopes, stick with Murray no matter what (unless we are in danger of the drop!) and just try and build over 2-3 windows .. We can’t...

Just listened to Murray. Seems like the attitude of some of the players is already being questioned. ‘Nodding dogs’ as he put it .. worrying that he perhaps can’t trust some of his newly assembled team. Quality aside, which is yet to be seen, any team that does well at this level needs characters wh...

I thought our identity was supposed to be fast, strong, direct. We look laboured

Never a pen

Previous spells in the National League have been from coming up, not going down. And understandably those seasons brought optimism. The irony is, we are best placed now as a National League club than we ever have been so we should be more optimistic than ever. Coming down has that opposite effect th...
