Spoiler alert if you haven’t listened to it.

Very interesting. Mea culpa in part. Board takes eye off the ball. CEO all powerful but incompetent. WHING clearly a mistake . Same with Gallagher and Dino . Not listening to the senior players. Physio going home at lunch time ( for more pies it looked like) Injured players not getting rehab - I mean come on - we had enough injured players to keep a team of physios going 24/7 add in the environment, broken equipment and crap facilities = relegation . Paul talks a good upside - looks like lessons have been learned - I particularly like the fact that we have changed the structure, brought in new experienced staff, and moved to what seem like much better facilities. And some players who sound like they’ve got it in them to turn this around. Here’s hoping .

That is a very honest interview. It explains how we got into that mess. OK, maybe it should have been dealt with earlier, but the honesty is refreshing.

I'll hold my hands up and accept that I didn't think the blame lay at Iain Wood's door (and still don't necessarily on the recruitment side) but, good grief, the lack of management of the club operations itself is staggering.

So in effect Wood was not only incompetent he was morally complicit.

A very interesting interview shows the honesty and decency of the Chairman and no doubt the board .
Personally I think because he is to nice and not street wise we've been relegated.
In the job he does he can quite clearly see mistakes in figures unlike Charlatans.
It was due to a basic lack of control that saw us go down.
The same lack of control was see under Paul Casson which saw him loose money.
One thing that sticks out in my mind a friend rented equipment to the club.
When it was used they never sent it back so were billed for several months more.
A guy who was self employed and lived from week to week completed a job and had to wait a long time for payment.

Murray like Evatt before him wants to make a name for himself.
He moves regularly but seems to leave clubs in a better place than when he arrived.

We have got to be organised this season.
Seen some of the he players say it's the ambition of the club why they have joined .
Less talking prove it.
Words are cheap the midfielder who came called Taylor when Jason Taylor was here said he wanted to resurrect his career but did nothing.

We need to start strong and continue .
Need to erase the stench of last season.

Surely players shouldn't have that much say on who is manager. If you have been given some home truths and go running to the Chairman because you don't like the thoughts on your performance.
So the players didn't like Dino Mamaari so didn't play for him. To be fair they didn't always play for their teammate Sam Foley either.

Wow that 6 minute clip is brutal. Some absolute charlatans in this set up and they’ve took the [SwearFilter] out of us. Concerning how that bunch of fraudsters had so much sway on so many people.
I like the comment he made about the characters that got us up, this squad had the talent but zero application and I hope they go on to fail in their next ventures. I like his honesty, you can’t fault someone that’s trying their best to turn it around.

An interesting listen. The only man whose actual job it was to control the club was a shocking failure. He interfered and lost control. That man played a blinder for himself to get into the position he did.

Call it what you will and I admire his honesty, but Hornby has been very naive and incompetent even over the last year or so.
He knew at Chesterfield something wasn't right, I did too when Andy Whing said he'd had a sleepless night wondering if he picked the right team. That set alarm bells ringing and Rob Kelly coming just papered over a few cracks for a few weeks.

For that much to go wrong and not be picked up on sooner is worrying, call it trusting people in positions but it should never have been allowed to get that far. The squad wasn't a mile away but something was horribly wrong and now we can see why a little part of it. Doesn't excuse some attitudes but gives an insight as to how bad it was. Hornby as an owner needs to be stronger, he knew deep down we needed experience yet still went with Paul Gallagher and a bunch of kids which ultimately was what relegated us in the end.

I hope he's learned his lessons and doesn't make the same mistakes, can't doubt his commitment but that league 2 was attrocious last year and we were the absolute worst of it, got given a great opportunity to stay up on multiple occasions but didn't take it. Getting back will be even harder than last time.

It wasn't all on Ian Wood, what's Joe Harveys' involvement is he culpable too and still here? A lot of it was said early doors though when things were going wrong and it's not often that the majority are wrong...everyone could see what was going on.
