2-2 FT

Sounded much better, got forward, bossed game for a long spell.

Sat back too much after 2nd goal. Could have lost it at end! Good point, must build on this.

However, Bayliss will be guuted at not winning from 2-0.

Taking Rowe off sounded questionable.

Well done fellas.

Thought Barrow shaded it overall, good effort by all the team and things are definitely looking up. I was well entertained tonight long may it continue. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Bugger, feels like a defeat after being 2 up with only a third of the game remaining.............but at least we are now 2 games unbeaten & Jacko has got off the mark, meaning we hopefully are getting some confidence back and stopped the rot.

ONWARDS & UPWARDS. :flag:
At least Mad Russell can hold on to a lead easier than BAFC

Bayles happy with the performance.
Delighted with the effort.
Happy with crowd reaction,' you can't fool the crowd, they know if you don't put a shift in.'
Rowe took a knock on calf, that's why he went off.
Flynne and Harvey 3 weeks from playing. Harvey starting to train.
'They are paying big wages, some of our lads are playing for nothing.' Sums it up really, well done Barrow. :flag:

Sickener that, to lose a 2 goal lead, but the boys should hold their heads high because that was a performance that was way beyond anything so far this season. They played some tremendous football tonight and that's the big positive to take forward. I thought both penalty decisions were wrong. The main gripe I have is taking Rowe off. That lad looked a real footballer tonight and I cannot fathom why the best and most dangerous player on the pitch got subbed. Makes no sense to me at all.

A draw was a fair result, and we made Grimsby look very average. It wasn't until Elding came on that they started creating chances, and once their first went in, our backs were against the wall. Can't fault our lads' effort tonight. It was a shame Rowe took a knock as he was getting the better of their right-back.

Our performances are improving, and we're getting better. It gives me confidence going into Saturday we can actually get something from Tamworth.

Maybe because of this....

Entertaining game we played some good stuff thought we shaded it but we should be winning games with a 2 goal lead just abit of luck is needed to get them 3 points a good game though but we were not quite good enough we still need a another striker as that was points dropped realy we need to be winning home games if we want to stay up

Much better. We were unlucky not to win. Never in the creation of man they'll go up on that performance, Macc were much better.

Great from Danny Rowe- starting to see a good player in there. The second goal was excellent.

Joe Jackson and Boyes very good, centre backs excellent again. Gavin Skelton looked bright.

Neither was a penalty, Ref might has well consulted runes on any 50-50 decision, equally shite for both sides.

108 of them, fair play, considering under 1000 it was a reasonable atmosphere with both sets singing at points.

We are not far away, it was a decent perfomance, we were entertained and I'm looking forward to Tamworth :D

Can't knock the effort tonight. The two young lads at the back were immense, Rowe had his best game yet, Jackson looked lively and deserved his goal.

I think there is still loads of improvement in us. We're getting better. There are still a couple of little gripes I could have but that would be churlish after the effort that went in tonight.

A step in the direction, just a shame we couldn't have locked up the win.

Aldred and Anderson had good games tonight, and I'm happy with the effort all across the park. With a bit of luck we can get something at Tamworth. Roll on Tammy and hopefully the first 3 points of the season.

Was gutted driving home thinking we've thrown that away but on reflection now there are many positives to take from the game. Just keep doing the same things and we'll get that win soon.

Thought Joe Jackson played very well tonight.

Really good effort tonight thoroughly enjoyed it and it's back to that one player who can make the difference for the opposition as at Macclesfield and the second half tonight with eluding but no news on the four strikers bayles was chasing let's hope he can get one as think we are starting to turn the corner.couldnt believe how bad Grimsby were in the first half
