New Merch - opinions
Evening all.
At the AGM myself, Rich Ingham and Steve Patten discussed what we could look at getting to restock the shop. it was decided to start with pin badges as they are cheap, and we get asked for them by away fans who want a memento of their trip to Holker Street.
With that in mind, i've sourced the attached.
Need two things really, firstly would you buy it and secondly how much would you pay. Bear in mind that this is a just mock up.
Cheers

I like that! A couple of quid up to £3.50 I guess. I'd buy one for sure.

Not sure if it is possible, but can pin badges be made from photographs? If so, photo no. 7 from the Forum Fundraiser thread might look good.
£3.50 sounds about right.

It needs to be £3 to make a decent profit on them. At £2 we are barely breaking even. Gone are the days when badges were that cheap sadly.

Some clubs are charging up to £4 for enamel badges and that includes Non League clubs.Richard Ingham wrote:It needs to be £3 to make a decent profit on them. At £2 we are barely breaking even. Gone are the days when badges were that cheap sadly.
£3 is a very good price and I wouldn't charge any less than that.
5th March 1978 was the day when it all began and from that day on...

Re: New Merch - opinions
£3 fine, but just my opinion don't like the design. I'd like to see a normal pin badge, bit smaller than the ones in the shop, or the UB one with the blue Northern Soul etc. Just MO mind

Re: Re: New Merch - opinions
Ste, no reason why we can't do that in future. Rather than have hundreds of unsold badges we'll be doing small runs and changing the designs over the season. Keeps things fresh and encourages repeat business.barrowaberdeen wrote:£3 fine, but just my opinion don't like the design. Re: Re: New Merch - opinions
I'll enquire with our manufacturer. The reason for this design is that it's based on something they already do, so no set up costs.Steelworks End wrote:Not sure if it is possible, but can pin badges be made from photographs? If so, photo no. 7 from the Forum Fundraiser thread might look good.

I feel awful is a bit strong, but appreciate your feedback. If you want to PM me some ideas we can look at these in future.popsider wrote:Peter its absolutely awful, I have some from other clubs you could look at maybe give you some ideas.

Re: New Merch - opinions
I've emailed the manufacturer for a quote to turn the image below into a pin badge. As long as it's reasonable we may be able to order these in the future.Steelworks End wrote:Not sure if it is possible, but can pin badges be made from photographs?
