Glad it's over
This season has been a let down in many ways for me both on and off the pitch ! I'm really looking forward to next year as it can't be as bad as this one has been can it ! I hope db is given the chance to rebuild a good team and find us a dimond or two along the way, seems along way away before it starts again, hope Dawson comes back in fact all our wingers apart from McConman who IMO should hang his boots up shocking player !
Love many, trust afew, but always paddle your own canoe ! My spelling is gash

Re: Glad it's over
We have to march on. Not happy with certain BOD members on why we should not be in BSP. We can still get the 800 mark in BSN or watever its called. Some decent sides coming our way.
Would like the BOD to come out 2 us and give us a real chance to do the club good

Barrowabc- I have really enjoyed your postings over the past couple of months. What I have liked is that you have always had a very positive attitude and have always backed the manager and the players instead of moaning and finding fault like the what seemed like the majority of posters at times.
Also when help has been needed you seem to be one of the first to roll your sleeves up and get things done. When Johns appeal to open the Affinity accounts was first made in february you were one of the only ones to respond [only 7 accounts were opened until recently and I think you were responsible for four!]
When the call came for help with the ground maintenance again you have got yourself down to Holker Street and it appears you are being a massive help.
In your postings you are a bit hot headed at times and I think you have offered to meet up with a couple of fellow posters to sort out differences with a boxing lesson but you are equally quick to make up.
Supporters like you [and Spirit and everyone else who has helped with the ground maintenance ] make me really proud of our club.
Imagine if there were a hundred like you Barrowabc- actually maybe not there may be a bloodbath if you got together and had an argument!!!
Anyway keep up the good work fellah

I've only known Tommy a couple of months but your right TLCW, he's a proper fanatic & is as keen as mustard. He also, as you say comes across like he'll take on the world, & more! but from my experience of him you'd struggle to find a nicer lad.TLCW wrote:Imagine if there were a hundred like you Barrowabc- actually maybe not there may be a bloodbath
But then I just agree with him all the time
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Very wise Spirit!!
And what a fantastic job you are doing with the ground maintenance. I think all supporters are interested in the work going on- there has been an incredible 21,000 hits on the ground maintenance thread and it has been inspiring to see the response to Exiles donation. Keep up the good work. Glad this season is over but really looking forward to July/August.
