Swim over. Head out to sea go south west from esbjerg and I will pick you up on the coast near Bridlington.Konaldo wrote:Pick me up at Birmingham or Edinburgh. Your choice..boyliegladbach wrote:North ferriby away Dennis, you can stay at my house.

Re: Brackley at Home First Game
Solihull Moors is only a few miles from the airport and Birmingham International Station (monorail between the two) and last time I went there was a bus from right outside the station up to the ground. It should be quite an easy journey for you and maybe one you could do in a day, though I presume you might want to stop over.

Re: Brackley at Home First Game
Hednesford also out as Lars is in training camp for the coming handball season.
Down to these fixtures now:
Oktober 19. Vauxhall Motors
November 30. Stalybridge Celtic
April 5. Histon
April 12. Solihull Moors
Any of these in threat of getting moved in case of FA or Trophy runs?

Re: Brackley at Home First Game
None of those should clash unless there is major fixture movement due to weather and really only Stalybridge Celtic would be a small risk for that. The last two are after Trophy final anyway and first one is before we come in Trophy I think and around the time we start in FA Cup.Konaldo wrote:Hednesford also out as Lars is in training camp for the coming handball season.

Solihull Moors - close to airport, would be easiest trip
Histon - Nice day out and at that time of year should be good craic
Stalybridge - should also be a good day out though always risk of weather at that time of year
Vauxhall Motors - not been there but maybe not the best place for such a visit.

Re: Brackley at Home First Game
Definitely Vauxhall away on Oct 19th for me and Jon, what with him based in Chester and me Blackpool like, the rest will have to be discussed with Mrs Dingle
Re: Brackley at Home First Game
Brackley at home, bit different from Oxford in 08/09 season! Would of preferred an away game like Solihull tbh.
Buzzing that Vaxhaull motors away is when I'm at Uni. 40 min train and £4.70 return!

Re: Brackley at Home First Game
I'm glad we are at home for the first game, but disappointed it is against such a strong contender. Our new unproven team against a seasoned side that was in the play-off final last time out and expecting more of the same. Good test but would rather not have it so early on, should be a good measuring stick though. Hope they can do something about the Harrogate home game, the Cartmel races will impact the gate.
Boxing day and New years day fixtures against Workington look good. Seems like a good way to reintroduce those long missed and much needed Cumbrian derby games.

I'll be on a tour so will miss the first home game. Alty and B.P.A away first look good though

The only two I would consider Dennis are Stalybridge or Solihull.Konaldo wrote:Hednesford also out as Lars is in training camp for the coming handball season.

Re: Fixtures/Brackley at Home First Game
Looks like the site I was looking at yesterday was useless as Stalybridge Celtic does potentially clash with FA Trophy Round 1 according to our main site. What round do we enter this season as that isn't shown on the fixtures news.Si_Nichols wrote:None of those should clash unless there is major fixture movement due to weather and really only Stalybridge Celtic would be a small risk for that.
