He's not the only one to tell him to [SwearFilter] off this afternoon. [SwearFilter] up embarrasment picking fights with 10 year olds in the stand.
I hope your not having a go at Chris there,

If you think that groups behaviour today was acceptable then that's fine.
I didn't, and neither did most around me, both Barrow and Gainsborough fans.
I actually attempted to calm the situation. I am fed up of you having ago behind a keyboard speak to me in person coward.

Will write my version of events later when I'm not on my phone.

Referring back to audigex post on gross misconduct, has it destroyed Bayliss' relationship with his employers? If not then nothing will happen.

It is all down to what the board think of the situation. Some of them will have witnessed the incident at the ground, which I think BBC RC referred to before the interview as the fans confronting Bayliss and him getting wound up and reacting. Not being there I only heard what BBC RC said and the interview. It is clear the pressure on him to succeed is getting to him, but a fan drunk nice guy or not, offering a fight (Bayliss' words) and then on public radio saying he'll meet anyone in a fight is not very good.

I've spoken to the fan in question, and he was quite clear in that he never offered Bayliss a fight and did not call him a [SwearFilter] as Bayliss said on the radio. I absolutely 100% believe him, there is absolutely no way on earth that I believe that fan would have offered a fight to anyone. Bayliss either misread the situation or is lying.

It was the bit about fighting that has left me really stunned. To say that he was prepared to have a physical fight to sort it out.

The whole situation is not good for Barrow. We are a laughing stock.

I was there today and witnessed Chris talking to the stewards to try and calm things down.I also have numerous photos of this, as I was alert enough to see what was happening. And wanted proof, if needed, to all the idiots on here, who NEVER go to away games and slag off proper fans behind a computer. As for that lunatic Bayliss and his actions. ... Just [SwearFilter] off.
You have my support Chris. I WAS THERE.

Bayliss was out of order, this was proved by the way he reacted when he thought I was filming him threatening Chris.
Tried to grab me and my phone.
I was actually just reading a text.
Wish I had filmed it though.

The man was out of control in my opinion. He's lost it.

Bayliss clearly did not see that way.

Either like you say, Bayliss must have misheard, heat of the moment and all that. Or maybe something was said by someone and he's aimed his reply at the wrong person. Kind of makes it look worse if he's got it wrong.

No smoke with fire. We'll have to send independent observers to these away games. :)

This incident is looking worse for Bayliss by the moment.

Well done. That sounds like the ball is firmly in the BOD court on this.

Sounds worse second time round cause you know it's coming. Almost forgot the second expletive F phrase, I was still picking myself up after the first one. Glad I had my headphones on at the time, the little ones were watching Robots on the TV.

The "don't sack him, who would take over?" crap is exactly that. There would be loads of people interested

Having just listened to the interview again without the shock factor, the bit that struck me is Bayliss saying it is not him people should be having a go at. Well who is it then?? He is the manager, the buck stops with him. It's his team, his players and for this level I believe they are good players, it's just that Bayliss is incapable of getting the best out of them.
