I think he should stay let the board manage the club because thats what they will do to the best of their ability New team expectations high it will not happen over night what ever we think as fans be patient we are 12 games in. :scarf:

DB's previous new team last year got relegated and played crap football

DB's current new team looks like it might get relegated and plays crap football.

spot the recurring theme.

It's not just 12 games though is it? It's all the games since Sheridan left as well.

About 24 hours in and the results are:

Yes (10) - 9%
No (115) - 91%

So over 91% of fans who answered the poll don't want Bayliss to continue as the manager...

The BOD need to take heed of the supporters. Stop being so foolish and stubborn.

CHANGE IS NEEDED!

Brian Keen in tonight's Evening Mail.

“We are not ignoring the fans and we know their feelings, we have got to act accordingly.

“But at the moment we are concentrating on the cup game. It is worth such a lot of money, as is the game after.”

Asked if Bayliss’s future had been discussed at boardroom level, Keen said: “We talk about the results, we talk about the fans, we talk about everything.

“Nothing has gone unnoticed and we are managing the situation as we feel is right for the football club, so if anything changes you will be the first to know.”

He added: “You know what it is like in football, you just can’t say bugger off, we’re getting somebody new.

“The other thing of course is we are a company and you can’t hire and fire just like that. You have got to have everything right or it could cost you a lot of money.

“If you are going to go that drastic you have got to do it properly. We will do everything that is right for the club for now and for the future".

Rabbit in the Headlights springs to mind.

I have supported Barrow for 59 years and actually thought Dave Bayliss was the right man to manage Barrow this year.

Not anymore after what has happened the last few weeks.

I have stopped going to games and like a lot of other supporters, will not be returning until the manager AND board are replaced.

We have a board full of cowards.

Amazed!
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

To paraphrase BK there.

We don't want him. We just can't afford to get rid of him.

I wonder if he's worked out that attracting back the stay-away supporters by sacking Bayliss might pay for itself. In fact they might be in pocket.

Or is it the fact that Dave knows things the BOD do not want us to know.

There should have been a third option "Don't know" or "Not sure". Pretty sure the absolute yes vote would be a bit lower. That floating vote would likely go with either side.

I guess I the don't know voters should just not answer it's a pretty definitive question with two possible answers... There's not really middle ground on it. Maybe the BOD are stuck in the don't know camp.
