Carver, 19, has just returned to Stanley following a month`s loan with Conference Premier side FC Halifax Town, where he played five times and scored once.

Carver netted his first senior goal for Accrington in the Capital One Cup at Middlesbrough earlier this season and will be looking to increase further his first-team experience during his time with the Bluebirds.

The youth team product spent time on loan with Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Marine last season, scoring ten times from fourteen games.

Just read some interesting comments from Ben Mills the Chester striker who has signed for Brackley. Despite being the most expensive signing since they left the League (12k of supporters donations) the manager told him he didn't figure in his plans and he wouldn't be offered a new contract at the end of the season. He went on to say that his agent put to him a couple of offers to go on loan for the rest of season ( us perhaps ?) but Brackley offered him a contract for the same period. Thereby hangs the difference between a succesful and a failing team. Bayles now appears to be on speed-dial for any manager outside the Championship wanting to get game time for players wanting to get fit after injury (Johnson,Briggs,Preston) or young lads (the rest) not seeing much action in Reserve/Development squads. We must be a laughing stock.
