What would it take................

Post by BigDan » Mon Nov 04, 2013 3:17 pm

There have been a lot of posts about apathy, lost interest and no long going to the games (and this can be seen from the attendances which are surely going to get worse as the situations prolongs)

so those of you who have now lost interest, are going to half as many games as last season or simply haven't been at all this season.........the question is this

what is it realistically going to take for you to go back to Holker St? and lets give the board something realistic they can work with.......winning the league, signing messi or free entry just isnt going to happen..................is the answer as simple as sack Bayliss and there will be over 1000 on the gate???

thoughts people?

A 'Bayliss has left by Mutual consent would do it for me', I am a big fan of Bayliss and he has done some great things for the club, lets not forget the promotion, the FA trophy and the good cup runs but those were then and this is now...............and has been this way for the last 18 months.............time for a change at the helm, it may not make things better but by christ they cant be worse!!!

Sacking Bayliss would be a start for me.

I just don't enjoy watching them anymore.
I can take defeats before anyone calls me a glory supporter or a sore loser, but recently before a ball has even been kicked you just know that it's going to be a long 90mins.

The football is awful, due to this the atmosphere at games isn't the same aswell.

The football for me was always about meeting mates and enjoying my weekend after a week in work, now I'd rather stay in the pub than go to the game for the simple fact that enjoyment has gone.

A change of manager will certainly bring some back, but for a lot I think it goes a lot deeper

It's all well and good taking about the success of promotion and winning the fa trophy and even the cup runs but don't forget all this was with Sheridan alongside and it's been downhill since he went.
The board got rid of the wrong man

Another six threads about the same subject would do it for me.

Negative football, a clueless manager and a bunch of loan players - change some of this would be a start for most

havent been right since Shez left. losing directors of the calibre of Mcdonald, Ingham, Allen and Rhyder havent helped. in tonights EM Meeks says we are not in a relegation battle, is he reading the table upside down?

No he is just as deluded as DB and some of the B O D. We are on a downward spiral unless someone forces a change, and it's not looking likely anytime soon!!!

Maybe a "late night" episode of the soap known as Barrow AFC? Works with me when Hollyoaks gets shit.

Maybe DB goes to Malta on a "scouting" trip and bumps into a local chairman (Jnr) and builds up a relationship with him. The rest is history.
