Great result for the Club, the team and the supporters. Well done., indeed. The result provides some welcome relief during a pretty dire season, thus far. Let's enjoy it and look forward a decent draw and a possible top Barrovian away-day.

It's 14th yes, which means we now will have to travel to Brackley midweek in a more important league game.

We may not have the most talented squad in the world but they can't be faulted for guts and effort today. Chester ran us ragged for the first 5 minutes during which they scored, but instead of caving in our lads hung in there and looked more and more likely to get a result the longer the match progressed. I was a bit worried that, although holding our own, we didn't look likely to score, but the build up for both goals was great, especially the second.

Days like this make it all worthwhile. It was equal to the feeling at Wembley, the way we battled back as underdogs. The delight on the players' faces when they came over to us at the end was plain for all to see. There's no doubt it meant a lot to them, let's hope they can now carry this forward to the league games.

Next round isn't regionalised, is it? So lowest ranked Southern club away please... Tonbridge Angels or St Albans City'll do!

Good win. I couldn't even listen to it on radio today but got bits of the last 20 mins in time for the goals, Russ Dodd going mad at the end.

Reading the Chester forum, it looks like our forum not so long ago. Fans moaning at the players and claiming they are not putting in a shift and at the manager who they seem to think is out of his depth at their level.

Sounds like they have done similar to us with a close-season rebuild of the team. I could be wrong but there are a lot of comments popping up stating that last seasons Chester team would have destroyed Barrow today. Comments on how last seasons players would have done better. Funny thing is from the sounds of it last seasons Barrow team would probably have destroyed Chester by the sounds of it. Not a happy bunch. Just as we have experienced a dramatic drop in the standard of football. Chester will have discovered that the step up to the conference premier is quite big.

Another top day out watching Barrow in Chester, these are things what you dream about, going one nil down after 5 mins, and the Barrow fans singing all the way through the match, not one person gave us a gods chance of winning, yet we pulled it off. So proud.
