Yesterday Edmo. Sean Riley and Meechan visited Furness General. Sad at this time of the year that kids and babies are in hospital especially little Stanley whom they met, a young baby with heart problems but was still smiling at everyone.
I hope the support at Workington is as good as it was at Chester because that 12th man definitely made a big difference on the day.

This current outfit is Evostik bound and as the few who turned up saw, clubs like Bamber Bridge have better players are are better organised than rubbish that masquarades as Barrow AFC. Relegation from that League will follow. Will the club be allowed in The North West Counties League in 3 seasons time?

In fairness, if the board had said it was arranged for yesterday, Monday or the middle of next week it wouldn't have suited everyone - leaving it till the date suggested seems about right to me.

I don't have an answer for everything, I'm simply explaining the reasoning behind it.

I post on here in the interests of openness. Someone asked a question and I tried to answer it.

The club did say they were going to hold a Meet the Manager Night but haven't announced one, the club should have said an actual date or say one will be held in January. When nothing has been announced after saying a meeting will be then its inevitable we'll get these type of comments bearing mind the boards previous record in not announcing things.

I also think its a valid point about why hasn't DE been in the bar after matches? I know its not necessarily part of his contract but sometimes small things like this trying to reassure fans do help or have the board told him not to speak to the fans? What fans we have left need some form of re-assurance but there's nothing whatsoever at the minute to suggest that things are even gonna change?
