Lewis Guy

Heard a rumour we have offered the ex Carlisle attacker Lewis Guy a contract. A quick wiki of him shows he scored one goal for Carlisle in 20 odd appearances and is originally from Penrith. Anyone else heard this?
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Nah!
But heard we have offered Louis Almond a 12 month contract with the option for a further 12 months.

I heard that too. Either we are offering contracts out willy nilly or silly season is properly under way with very few of these actually true.

To be fair Lewis guy would be very good at this level if I remember correctly more off a
Old
Fashioned striker. Holds it up does the nasty stuff prob be a good foil to work alongside walker. Used to play for Newcastle and Doncaster. Represented england 15s on sky sports many a time

Bombed out of St Mirren after punching a member of the coaching staff when substituted. Might have been one-off red mist but if not doesn't sound the type to go with a happy dressing room.

I saw him make his only appearance for Newcastle in a UEFA cup tie against Sporting Lisbon in 2004-05, he came on for Craig Bellamy, would be strange to see him resurface at Barrow nearly ten years later
